Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify construction of a waste heat re-utilization device of incinerator for wastes etc. and to make the device effective by permitting the incinerator to work even during the turbine out of operation without provision of any reserve condenser.
CONSTITUTION: When a turbine 2 is to be started, the steam from a steam sump 1 is, after driving the turbine 2, sent to condensers 5a, 5b through divergent pipes 14a, 14b by closing pressure regulator valves 3a, 3b and opening water sealing valves 15a, 15b, and then returns to water. During the turbine out of operation, the steam is sent directly to the condensers 5a, 5b from the steam sump 1 through by-passes 10a, 10b by opening the pressure regulator valves 3a, 3b and closing the water sealing valves 15a, 15b.
