CONSTITUTION:An AC motor is driven by an inverter 1 connecting the transistors Tr1-6 into a three-phase bridge form. At this time a speed setting signal S1 are made into a pulse train signal S2 proportional to the output frequency through a frequency converter 7 to simultaneously correct so that a motor torque may balance a load torque at the point of the maximum efficiency by feeding said signal to a speed corrector 8. And said signal is synthesized with the signal S2 through a signal generator 9 composed of a memory part 10 and an address selection part 11 to be given to a base control circuit 12 for controlling an inverter 1. Accordingly even a fan load and such, which change the load torque depending on the revolution speed, can always operate the motor at the point of maximum efficiency.
