With a detection value of a power detection circuit 16 as control input, a switching circuit 9 controls the ignition circuit 3 according to a section in which the detection value corresponds to a set point in the switching circuit, and applies power voltage waves to the induction motor 5 through thinning out every other wave and then at every two waves from the full wave. Thus, a plural characteristic is given to the motor, the input power is saved to minimize a loss to occur, and further operation efficiency can be improved.
