Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the average temp. of a hot water tank of a sharp temp. gradient by disposing plural pieces of silicon semiconductor in the temp. changing directions of a hot water device and connecting these in series, in measuring the quantity of accumulated heat of an electric hot water device or the like. CONSTITUTION:A diode (D) circuit 40 which is a silicon semiconductor consists of Ds41-44 connected in series, wherein the diodes are disposed on the outside wall of a hot water device in the direction perpendicular thereto at such intervals at which the amounts of the hot water between the four Ds are approximately equal. A bridge is constituted by the D circuit 40 and resistances (R) 45-47, and the potential differences thereof are inputted by Rs 48, 49 to an amplifier circuit 50. The signal outputs amplified by the amplification factor determined by the ratio of the R48 and R51 are supplied to a meter 35 by a current limiter R52. The coeffts. of temps. of the Ds are linear in an ordinary temp. range, and the outputs correspoding to the change components of the surface temps. are obtained in the Ds 41- 44, whereby the sum total of the temps. at the four points, that is, an average value, is obtained.
