Abstract
PURPOSE: To indicate a clogging condition of a filter even when the operation of said filter is stopped, by setting a blinding indicator to an abnormality indicating state when a pressure difference and a oil temp. of the filter exceed prescribed values, and keeping said state until a reset switch is operated.
CONSTITUTION: An oil pressure difference is made larger by clogging of a filter, and when it exceds a prescribed value, a by-pass valve 24 is pushed to be moved to the arrow (e) direction so that lubricating oil 38 flows to an oil-pass hole through a hole 21. A permanent magnet 25 is also moved to the arrow (e) direction to disconnect electric contacts 31a, 31b and a pressure detector 15 issues an off-signal. On the other hand, when the oil temp. rises and exceeds the prescribed value to reach the Curie point of a thermoferrite 54 and the electric contacts 56a, 56b are disconnected and an oil temp. detecting device 50 issues an off-signal. By this action, electric voltage is impressed to the abnormality indicator to indicate the abnormality due to the clogging by lighting a lamp of the indicator. As the electric voltage is impressed in the forward direction between an anode and a cathode, the abnormality indication is kept as it is so far as the reset switch is kept in on-state, even if a engine is stopped.
