Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a sight flow with a capability of eliminating suspended matters from a liquid by disposing a filter for arresting the suspended matters contained in the liquid within a sight flow. CONSTITUTION:The sight flow is formed in a sealed construction by attaching an annular packing 14 and a disk made of glass or a transparent synthetic resin to the tubular opening of a tubular sight flow barrel 12 and by fastening a front and rear pressure plates 11 with bolts 16 and nuts 21. The liquid in a pipe 15 flows from the lower part upward in the drawing. A filter 17 eliminates suspended matters from the liquid. A movable plate 18 which is moved corresponding to the intensity of the flow is attached to the top part of the filter 17 for facilitating visual inspection of the intensity of the flow. The filter 17 can easily be cleaned by washing, since the filter 17 can easily be taken out by loosening the bolts 16 and nuts 21 to remove the pressure plates 11 and the disk 13.
