Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a foreign matter from overflowing together with cleaning liquid and thus to wash an agricultural waste plastic effectively in succession by providing a foreign matter discharge hole on base plate at outlet side end of a horizontal flow separating tank. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural waste plastic fine piece P crushed to a size that will allow 150-200mm. screen meshes to pass is supplied into a horizontal flow separating tank in which a given rate of washing horizontal flow 19 is formed, a foreign matter 20 is precipitated to separation onto a base plate 11 of the separating tank, and the fine piece P is forced to overflow the tank outside together with cleaning liquid 18 from a side plate 12 formed curvedly on outlet side end of the base plate 11. On the other hand, the precipitated foreign matter 20 is collected into a foreign matter reservoir 14A at a discharge hole 14 provided fore side on the side plate 12 along the surface of te base plate 11, the foreign matter 20 is allowed to run out of the discharge hole 14 into a foreign matter chamber 14B by opening a top valve 15A at a suitable timing, and a bottom valve 15B is opened to discharge the foreign matter 20 whenever the foreign matter chamber 14B is filled therewith.
