Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the cycle time for trasferring a workpiece and to diminish the size of the titled apparatus, by attracting the workpiece by suckers mounted on each tip side and base side of the underside of sucking holder and base side, and by alternately supplying it to between dies and an idling station.
CONSTITUTION: A conveyer 7 actuates to send a workpiece 27 to a prescribed position just under a base-side sucker 26, and upon detecting its arrival, the sucker 26 attracts the workpiece 27 on the onveryer 27. A sucker 25 attracts a workpiece 27 which has been laid on a supporting table 28 during the precedent process. A motor 10 rotates normally to advance a rack 16 together with a sucker holder 16 toward B direction, while a sucking holder 18 pushes a half-made product 32 on a lower die 31 onto a discharge conveyer 33, and the sucker 25 and the workpiece 27 reach the forming station S8 between the upper and lower dies 30, 31. Then the sucker 26 and the workpiece 27 are sent to a idling station S2, and the reduced pressure of the suckers 25, 26 are relieved to drop the workpieces 27, 27 onto the table 28 and the die 31, respectively. Then a holder 18 returns to the direction B and a stopper 21 stops at the restoring position contacting with a shock absorber 22.
