Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a wheel device rollable in any direction on a flat face and in two directions on rails by supprting two wheels tapered on both sides on a fork- shaped support member rotatably pivotted on the under face of a bogie and providing one wheel with a tire.

Consequently, the device can be freely changed in its direction for rolling on a flat floor face, but cannot be turned in 180° for rolling on rails 7 and 8 in any direction.
