Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify intake and exhaust passages, by forming a turbocharger in a vertical type in which a compressor is disposed at an upstream side of a turbine.
CONSTITUTION: A turbocharger 14 is constituted in such a way that it may be formed in a vertical type in which a compressor 12 is disposed at an upstream side of a turbine 10, and an intake pipe 11a of an intake passage 11 may be extended rearwardly through an upper part of an engine 5, and an exhaust pipe 9a of an exhaust passage 9 may be extended from a front side of the engine 5 downwardly, subsequently from lower part reawardly. This results in simplification of the intake and exhaust passages 11, 9, and improvement of cooling effect of the exhaust pipe 9a.
