Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the fluctuation in the rotation of an exhaust turbine and obtain stable supercharging pressure in a supercharger for the engine of a motorcycle or the like, by providing a pre-chamber in an exhaust passage to absorb the pulsation of exhaust gas.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust passage 6 is provided with a pre-chamber 13 upstream to a turbine 7. The capacity of the pre-chamber 13 is made slightly smaller than that of a pre-chamber 11 in an intake passage 8. The pre-chamber 13 functions to absorb the pulsation of exhaust gas which is conducted from an engine 3 to the turbine 7 through the exhaust passage 6. As a result, the rotation of the turbine 7 does not fluctuate and stable supercharging pressure is obtained.
