Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a torsional run of a tape by turning a video head slantingly to a track pattern corresponding to a slanting angle by guiding a head fitting piece between an upper durm and a lower durm. CONSTITUTION:A head fitting piece 8 is divided into two, and a ball step 8a coinciding with the ball step 5a of a shaft 5; and permanent magnets are fitted on both the sides of the ball step 8a and the fittig piece 8 never moves in a radius direction. Rollers 12a and 12b are fitted closer to a video head and roll on the guide surfaces of the drum 2 and lower drum 1. So that the video head 4 scans on a tape slantingly, the guide surfaces of the upper drum 2 and lower drum slant corresponding to a track pattern slanting angle, forming slanting tracks on the tape.
