Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to compensate the differentiation phase chracateristics of a video signal easily, by controlling a differentiation phase distortion compensation data digitized to a video input signal corresponding to the signal level of each time of the video input signal. CONSTITUTION:A video input signal converted into a digital signal at an A/D converter 1 is compensated with the compensation data corresponding to the input signal level of an ROM2. Next, the output of a switch S1 is applied to the upper rank 1-bit at a D/A converter 4 to determine the polarity of phase compensation amount and inputted to a phase modulation circuit 6 via a compensation adjusting variable resistor 5. A clock signal led or delayed is outputted to a D/A converter 4 based on an input signal to a synchronizing clock signal (a). On the other hand, a delay circuit 3 compensates the operation time from the ROM2 to the circuit 6. The differentiation phase characteristics can be compensated easily by taking the timing converting the digital video input signal via the circuit 3 to an analog signal with the clock output of the circuit 7.
