Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect ignition timing in such a way that at the same time as plural numbers of integrator start integration from an equal voltage, one of the integrators tranforms the charged voltage to a zigzag form by a nonlinear circuit, and output power in the nonlinear circuit is compared with the output of the other integrator.
CONSTITUTION: In the condition that the engine revolving speed is low, since the charged voltage Vc1 of the first integrator 40 does not arrive at the output voltage Vn in the nonlinear circuit 60, a comparator 70 does not give the output to the logic 1. Therefore, output Q' is maintained until FF80 is set by reset signals RR which are given the input to wired OR 83; in the meantime, the primary side of an ignition circuit 90 has the current flowed. When the revolving speed rises, the second integrator 45 which is charged on the basis of reset signals RR stops the charge through set signals SS, the output voltage Vn in the circuit 60 results in being lower. In consequence, the comparator 70 gives the output of logic 1 faster than the reset signals RR, and FF80 is set.
