Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent an erroneous ignition at switching ignition signal by keeping terminal voltages of charging/discharging condensers in a delay circuit through which to determine the second ignition signal almost at OV when the ignition timing is determined by the first ignition signal.
CONSTITUTION: An ignition system comprises a main ignition controlling circuit A consisting of a main ignition signal generating circuit 1, a signal amplifier circuit 2, an ignition circuit 3, a current limiting circuit 4 and a current limiting time shoftening circuit 5 and a lag ignition generating circuit B. The lag ignition signal generating circuit B comprises a trigger generating circuit 7 receiving a main ignition signal, a bistable multivibrator 8, a triangular wave forming circuit 9, an output circuit 10 inverting the bistable multivibrator 8 when discharging voltage of a condenser Q drops as low as a given value and giving a lag ignition signal, a switching circuit 11 controlling a connection of the circuit B to the circuit A and functioning to drop a trigger signal inputted to the bistable multivibrator 8 when a lag signal is not required to an earth.
