Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate starting action of a diesel engine mounted on vehicles such as a combine by means of a start control unit which automatically starts the engine simply tuning on an ignition switch and keeps the engine in constant revolution after the start.
CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder 21 is installed to rotate an accelerator lever 13, which conrrols the engine revolution speed, while a hydraulic cylinder 22 us installed to tug and drive a decompression lever 15. Hydraulic supply to these cylinders 21 and 22 is regulated through electromagnetic valves 23 and 24. When an ignition switch is closed at the time TO, a solenoid 24s is excited for a time lapse t3 and the hydraulic cylinder 22 is contracted, which makes the engine decompressed. A solenoid 23b is excited to contract the hydraulic cylinder 21 so that the accelerator lever 13 is shifted in an revolution-up direction. After this, the engine is started by energizing an ignition motor at the time T1 which lags for a time t1.
