Abstract

PURPOSE: To have an accurate sensing of actual time of fuel injection regardless of wear of mechanical parts by sensing directly the internal pressure of a plunger performing the fuel injection and determining the work of fuel injection on the basis of the sensed data.
CONSTITUTION: The cam disc 4 is rotated by the drive shaft 3 to put the plunger into reciprocative motion. The internal pressure of this plunger 7 is sensed by a pressure sensor 21 and the data obtained undergoes calculating process of a control circuit device 20. The signal S1 from the pressure sensor 21 is counted and put in a memory 26 by latch pulse P3. The target injection signal D3 in compliance with the driving condition is operated by a circuit 30 and compared with the signal S1 by an error sensor 29, and is operated by a circuit 36 so that the signal S1 will be in coincidence with the signal D3. This control signal is then amplified by a drive circuit 34 and impressed to an electromagnetic actuator 18 as drive control signal.
