Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform a customary and correct detection of the actual injection amount regardless of the mechanical abrasion by directly detecting the actual fuel injection amount according to the displacement amount of pressure body in the fuel injection mechanism which is displaced by the fuel pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The fuel prssed in the chamber 20 is supplied to the fuel injection mechanism 23 at the time of overlapping of the slit 22 and the pressure sensitive port 24 when the plunger 11 is operated in a rotatory lifting condition through a cam disk 12 by the rotation of engine. Thus the fuel absorbed in an absorbing space involving the passage 30 is supplied to the jet valve through the delivery valve 27 by a motion of the piston 26 to the right. In this occasion, the displacement amount of the piston 26 should be detected by a position senser 36 to detect an injection amount of the fuel. After finding a signal of the actual injetion amount by the process circuit according to the output of the position sensor 36, the control sleeve 13 is controlled through an actuator in accordance with deviation between this signal and the target value signal.
