Abstract
PURPOSE:To smoothly carry out drainage in a detector and to enable to prevent the breakage of a diffusion membrane of hydrogen, by forming a conical tapered face inclining from the bottom part of the annular groove of a vacuum pipe toward a discharge opening of gas to be measured. CONSTITUTION:Gas to be measured flowing from an entrance piping 3, is passed through a flowing tube 19 and a part of hydrogen is entered into a vacuum pipe 10 permeating through a cylindrical hydrogen diffusion membrane 8 controlled the temperature by a temperature controlling apparatus 16 and then, the gas to be measured which does not permeate the membrane 8, is flowed from an exit piping 7. The temperature of hydrogen permeated the membrane 8, is measured by an ionization electric current at a vacuum degree measuring system 12. On the one hand, sodium vapor in the gas liquefying accompanied by lowering the temperature in a detector at a suspension time of plant, flows to the piping 7 because the inner wall of the outer tube of a double tube part in the end part of the pipe 10 is made into a conical tapered face F inclining toward the piping 7. Hereby, drainage of sodium is carried out smoothly and the diffusion membrane is not broken by sticking sodium to said membrane.
