Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid a peculiar or unpleasant feeling due to sharp deceleration, by prescribing a limit value for the rate of decrease in the injection of fuel at the time of deceleration to control the degree of the deceleration.
CONSTITUTION: An injected quantity calculation circuit 105 calculates an injected quantity on the basis of a revolution speed signal S2 and an accelerator position signal S3 to send out an injected quantity signal S6. A subtraction circuit 106 sends out a signal S8 corresponding to the difference between the present injected quantity S6 and the preceding one S7. A limit value setting circuit 109 sends out a limit value signal S9 corresponding to a gear position signal S4. A comparison circuit 107 compares the signals S8, S9, with each other. When the signal S8 is equal to or higher than the signal S9, a signal S12 produced by subtracting the limit value S9 from the quantity S7 which is injected a predetermined time ago is sent out as a fuel injection control signal OS4 so that the rate of decrease in the injected quantity is controlled to be reduced by the prescribed limit value. As a result, the degree of deceleration is lowered not to give a rider a peculiar or unplesant feeling.
