Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect an abnormal descent easily by the displacement of a body accompanied with acceleration in the lowering operation of an elevator device. CONSTITUTION:An operating rod 6 having a weight 5 at its lower end is supported nearly at its center rotatably on a support shaft 7 fixed to the elevating device of a cable car, etc. Then, a spring 8 is brought into contact corresponding to the swinging direction ot this operating rod. The other end of the spring meets the tip of an adjustment bolt 10 screwed inta washer fitted to the cable car. Further, switches 11A and 11B are arranged which have levers 12A and 12B where they are operated by the swinging of the tip 6E of the operating rod and the weight 5. When acceleration A of an abnormal descent is generated, the inertia of weight permits the operating rod to swing, and then the switches are operated to detect the abnormal descent.
