Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the correction of the thickness of an iron strip plate at the laminating time by comparing the thicknesses of the plate at both ends with the predentermined thickness and engaging rollers having uneven parts in response to the deviation while laterally displacing the rollers rightwardly or leftwardly at the predetermined pitch to form the uneven grooves for the correction. CONSTITUTION:An iron strip plate 1 is drawn from a roll 2, the thicknesses of both ends of the plate 1 are measured via thickness measuring units 4, and are compared with the predetermined thickness. Uneven surface forming units 5 provided in the next stage are controlled in accordance with the deviation. The forming units 5 have upper and lower forming rollers 5a and 5b disposed to interpose the plate 1 therebetween and vary the distance between the upper and lower rollers in accordance with the deviation in the thicknesses of the plate as well as displaces laterally the rollers rightwardly or leftwardly at the predetermined pitch P1 to form uneven grooves in zigzag manner on the plate 1. This plate 1 is passed through a leveller 6 for adjustment, is then guided through feed rollers 7 to a punching mold 8, is thus punched in a core shape, and the plates 1 are laminated.
