Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the correcting work of a laminated core at the laminating time by comparing the thicknesses of an iron strip plate at both ends with the predetermined thickness and controlling rollers having uneven surface responsive to the deviation to form uneven grooves on the strip plate, thereby correcting the deviation in the thickness of the plate with the grooves. CONSTITUTION:An iron strip plate 1 is drawn from a roll 2, the thicknesses of both ends of the plate 1 are measured via thickness measuring units 4, and are compared with the predetermined thickness. An uneven surface forming unit 5 provided in the next stage is controlled in accordance with the deviation. The forming unit 5 has upper and lower forming rollers 5a, 5b disposed to interpose the plate 1 therebetween, and varies the distance and the inclination between the rotating shafts 5c and 5d of the rollers on the basis of the deviation of the thicknesses of the plate, thereby forming the uneven grooves on the surface of the plate 1 responsive to the deviation. The plate 1 is adjusted through a leveller 6, is then guided through feed rollers 7 into a punching mold 8, which punches the plate into a core shape, and the punched plates are laminated.
