Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by a method wherein a piston for driving a stripper plate is mounted to a cope of a pin gate type die and contacted with the stripper plate, and a clamping means is interlocked with the projecting motion of said piston and lowered. CONSTITUTION:When taking out the sprue section 20, a gate 22 of the sprue section 20 is cut when starting mold opening, the sprue section 20 is separated from an intermediate die 11 with a rise of the cope 1, the sprue section 20 is grasped through the clamping means 23 when the cope 1 rises at a predetermined distance, the sprue section 20 is released from the die by pushing down and projecting the stripper plate 6 from the cope 1 while the clamping means 23 is interlocked and lowered, and the sprue section 20 is taken out. Accordingly, the taking-out device for the sprue section, structure thereof is simple and which can take out the sprue section extremely efficiently is manufactured.
