Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the compliance much more, by realizing a two-phase co- existing system in a single cabinet. CONSTITUTION:A speaker 42 is fitted to a cabinet 41 made of Al dicast. Porous metal (wick) to increase the surface area almost as a whole is provided in the cabinet 41. The air in the cabinet 41 is replaced with fleon to keep the fleon in gas-liquid two-phase equilibrium. The liquid phase of fleon is condensed on the surface of the wick 43 and at the inside of the cabinet 41 as liquid drops and not pooled at the bottom of the cabinet 41. The diaphragm and the edge are made of molded polyvinylidene film with very small transmitting rate of fleon, and the transmission of gas from those parts can be ignored. Thus, the minimum resonance frequency f0 is 73.8Hz and it is cleared that the frequency is lower than conventional systems.
