Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve low frequnecy characteristic of a piezoelectric speaker, by securing an elastic support for the center part of a piezoelectric oscillator with a pressure spring. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric oscillator 2 formed by sticking the piezoelectric elements 4 and 5 on both surfaces of the diaphragm 3 is supported at the stage part 1a of the case 1. The cone vibrating film 10 is provided on the upper surface of the oscillator 2. The center part 10a of the film 10 is formed into a dome-shaped and contacts with the oscillator 2 at the base. The amplitude of oscillation of the oscillator 2 is transmitted to the film 10 from the part 10a, and the pressure spring 13 is provided between the oscillator 2 and the sealing tube 12. Accordingly the oscillator 2 serves as a disk corresponding to the center support via the spring 13, thus obtaining easily a sound of a low frequency.
