Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a noise component right after a signal rises, by subtracting a separated high frequency component from an information delay signal, and thus obtaining an information signal removed from the high frequency component. CONSTITUTION:An FM-demodulated playback luminance signal (a) which contains a noise component arrives at an input terminal 1 and passes through a low-pass filter 6 to remove a high frequency component containing the noise component, and the resulting signal (b) is supplied to an adder 7 with the opposite phase. Then, the signal (a) passed through a delay circuit 8 has the same extent of delay (0.5-2musec) with the rising time of the low-pass filter 6 and is supplied to the adder 7 as an in-phase signal (c). The adder 7 subtracts the signal (b) from the signal (c) to extract only a hgh frequency component, and a limiter 9 limits only a large amplitude component, or a signal component to output only a noise component to an adder 4. Since the adder 7 subtracts the complete rising high-level signal of the signal (b) from the signal (c), the noise compnent shortly after the rising is removed.
