CONSTITUTION:The sliding surface of a reproducing stylus is in the shape of a quadrilateral having the 1st side 5 which is in parallel to the moving direction B of the reproducing stylus and has an electrode 2, the 2nd side 6 which extends at a >=90 deg. angle theta1 from the end part 5a of the side 5 at the moving direction side of the reproducing stylus in the moving direction A of a disk 3, the 3rd side 7 which extends at a >=90 deg. angle theta2 from the other end 5b of the side 5 in the moving direction of the disk 3, and the 4th side 8 which extends at an acute angle theta5 from the other end part 6a of the side 6 to the other end part 7a of the side 7. Consequently, dust on the disk is all in contact with the side 8 during reproduction, but it never intrudes between the sliding surface of the reproducing stylus and the disk.
