Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform reliable power control by a method wherein a variable charging circuit to a capacitor consists of a bridge rectifying circuit comprising four diodes and the current charging the capacitor is controlled by means of a thyristor. CONSTITUTION:When the cycle of a power supply 1 is positive, current flows from the anode of a thyristor 3 to a capacitor 5 through a diode 6, an FET10 and a diode 9 while when said cycle is negative, the current flows from the capacitor 5 to a diode 8, the FET10 and a diode 7. With the resistance value of a variable resistor 17 changed, the gate voltage of FET10 is changed further changing the charging current of the capacitor 5. Through these procedures, the conductive angle of the thyristor 3 is changed to control the power. The power may be fixed even if the power supply voltage 1 is fluctuated.
