Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a gear with a shaft with a good yield in a short working time, by press-fitting a shaft material to a preliminarily heated gear material in a die having teeth and making these materials into one body after forming teeth on the gear material. CONSTITUTION:A gear material 1 is heated and is inserted to a die 4 having teeth 4d of a working device 3. Under this state, while a shaft material 2 is stood straight in the center of the upper face of the material 1 and is held with fingers, a slide 12 is allowed to fall, and the through hole of a guide 19 is inserted to the upper end of the material 2. The slide 12 is allowed to fall furthermore, and the upper end of the material 2 in the guide 19 is pressed by the tip of a punch 15 to press-fit the lower end of the material 2 into the material 1, and simultaneously, the material 1 is pushed to the outside by the increment of the volume of the material 2, and teeth 1a are formed on the outside circumferential face. The slide 12 is allowed to fall while allowing an ejector 7 to fall, and the material 1 is punched by the lower end of the material 2, thus producing a gear with a shaft where both materials 1 and 2 are made into one body.
