Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve accurate color separation and to obtain a small-sized constitution by guiding reflected light from a dichromic mirror to the 1st photodetection part and its transmitted light to the 2nd photodetection part respectively. CONSTITUTION:Incident light 41 is separated by a dichromic mirror 37 into two light-wavelength region components, transmitted light 42 and reflected light 43. The transmitted light 42 is reflected by optical mirrors 39 and 40 successively to make incident to the photodetection part 33 of a photosensor 31. The reflected light 43, on the other hand, is reflected by an optical mirror 38 and then made incident to the photodetection part 34 of the photosensor 31. Therefore, images differing in light wavelength region, of the same image are detected by the photodetection parts 33 and 34. Since the optical path length of the transmitted light 42 is equal to that of the reflected light 43, the images are formed equally on the photodetection parts 33 and 34.
