Abstract

PURPOSE: To form on an object an electroplated coating with arbitrary patterns around the sections where electric current is applied, by positioning the object and a plate eletrode having an ununiform electrical resistance distribution in an electro coating paint in such a way that they are adjacent to each other, and applying an electric current across the object and the plate electrode.
