Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. having excellent rust-proofness and moldability, by adding a small amount of a higher fatty acid together with hydrotalcite to a polyolefin resin.
CONSTITUTION: 0.02W0.2wt% hydrotalcite (A) and 0.02W0.2wt% higher fatty acid (B) such as palmitic or stearic acid are blended with a polyolefin resin such as PE or PP produced by using a Ziegler catalyst. Heretofore, a salt of a higher fatty acid has been blended with PE produced by using a Ziegler catalyst, to impart rust-proofness thereto. But, in the production of a monofilament by a melt extrusion method or of a film by an inflation method, a trouble has been caused in that a resinous matter adhered around the resin outlet of a die. Further, a stable and continuous production has been impossible when it has been intended to produce a thin film by an inflation molding method. By incorporating small amounts of components A and B, a resin compsn. having excellent rust-proofness and moldability can be obtd. Particularly it in possible to easily produce an extremely thin film from PE by an inflation molding method.
