Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operation due to the forgetful nonclosure of a hold switch, by providing a display element for the confirmation of the operation state of the hold switch. CONSTITUTION:For normal operation, a hold switch 15 is closed and touch switches 11-13 are closed optionally. When one of the switches 11-13 is closed, a potential at a corresponding input terminal of a key controller 14 varies and this potential variations are latched by the controller 14 to set a selected mode. In this state, opening the switch 15 turns on a transistor 22 to turn on a light emitting element 21. Then, the switch 15 is found opened by confirming the turning-on of this element 21. When this switch 15 is opened, an operation mode never changes even if another touch switch is closed, so that any malfunction does not occur.
