Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent any generation of bubbles, and enhance the durability of a battery case by forming the battery case by use of a mixture prepared by adding a given amount of sorbitan fatty acid ester or dibenzylidene sorbitol to crystalline polypropylene. CONSTITUTION:A battery case is formed by subjecting a polypropylene mixture to injection molding. The former polypropylene mixture is prepared by adding 0.01-3wt%, preferably 0.1-1wt%, of either sorbitan fatty acid ester or dibenzylidene sorbitol to crystalline polypropylene. Here, an appropriate amount of an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent, an antioxidant, an antistatic agent, a slip agent, a pigment or the like may be added to the polypropylene mixture.
