Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the durability test with good accuracy, by relatively transferring a pair of support stands separately supporting a driving side rotating transmission member and a driven side rotating transmission member with a feed mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In performing the durability of a pair of gears 24 and 29 with a durability tester 1, a driving gear 24 is fixed to a driving shaft 3 with fitting nuts 25 and a driven gear 29 is fixed to a driven shaft 5 with nuts 30. A distance l between fixed shafts of both gears 24 and 29 is set to a desired value with a feed mechanism 7, both gears 24 and 29 are opposed in front by operating a transversal handle 9 and a lower moving stand 601 is fixed on a fixed stand 4. Succeedingly, the distance l is set while visually observing a longitudinal main scale 20 and a longitudinal sub-scale 21 with a longitudinal handle 17 and an upper moving stand 602 is fixed to the lower moving stand 601. The one pair of gears 24 and 29 muched with each other can be checked for the accuracy of transmission, noise level and anti-wear performance due to the variance in backlash.
