CONSTITUTION:A control member 12 presses and releases at least one or more of a head, a pinch roller and an idler which use a motor-driven intermittent gear 2 to perform the reproduction. The member 12 is actuated against the resetting force of an elastic spring 6. A locking member 39 locks the member 12 in the reproduction mode. The lock state done by the member 39 is released by means of either one or both of a quick forwarding lever 31 and a rewinding lever 32.
