Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a safe, sure, inexpensive and simple preventing device for dew condensation by detecting the temp. difference between the atmospheric air and the inside of a machine and stopping the operation of a cooling means for introduction of the atmospheric air until the temp. rises to the extent of not causing dew condensation. CONSTITUTION:The temp. detected values of inside and outside temp. sensors 6, 7 of a copying machine are compared in a comparator 8, and according to the output thereof, the driving of a cooling fan 3a is controlled by a controlling circuit 9. The driving of the fan 3 is held stopped until the temp. difference between the inside and outside of the machine attains a prescribed value. When the temp. difference attains the prescribed value upon elevation of the temp. by the heating source in the machine, the fan 3a is started to introduce the atmospheric air, thereby eliminating the temp. difference between the inside and the outside of the machine quickly. The safe, sure, inexpensive and simple preventing device for dew condensation is obtained.
