Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate disassembling and assembling of a titled device by introducing air into the sealed chamber formed in the lower part of a fitting thereby making a piston rod movable vertically. CONSTITUTION:In the case of assembling a roll bending device, an upper work roll chock 5 is mounted to a lower work roll chock 6 from above. Here, the top end part of a piston rod 15 is inserted into a through-hole 19. An air introduction pipe 36 is inserted through a fitting hole 37 and is connected to the opening of the air introduction hole 33 of a hammer head part 20. A air supply pipe 39 is connected to a nipple 38 and air is supplied to the hole 33. The introduced air enters a sealed chamber 32 through an air through-hole 35, and forces the bottom surface of a fitting 18, thereby moving the rod 15 upward. This forces the peak surface of the head part 20 to abut to the bottom part of the hole 19. In this state, a cotter 22 is fitted into the small diameter part. When the pipe 39 and the pipe 36 are removed, the rod 15 descends by own-weight, and the head part 20 is supported to the cotter 22 to completes the assembling.
