Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out reaction in a highly active state, with the catalyst of various reaction such as oxidizing reaction, reducing reaction or the like, by using an amorphous inorg. substance.
CONSTITUTION: As the catalyst of various reactions such as oxidizing, reducing, polymerizing or hydrogenating reactions, an amorphous inorg. substance such as metal-metal such as iron-chromium, copper-zirconium or the like or metal-semi- metal such as plalladium-silicon-copper lanthanum-potassium or the like is used. This amosphous inorg. substance is called as amorphous and has irregular atomic arrangement and is free from crystal anisotropy and is isotropic as well as is a uniform substance free from crystal deficiency. Therefore, because there is no crystal lattice and atomic arrangement is in a random state from a long- tem standpoint, said catayst has highly catalitic activity to various kinds of reactions.
