PURPOSE: A method of preparing a catalyst which does not become powder and can maintain its high activity over a long time when used in decomposition reaction of hydrocarbon into mainly CO and H2, and which has excellent low temperature activity when used in decomposition reaction of ammonia into N2 and H2.
