Abstract
PURPOSE:To cut off fuel in a carburetor at decleration, by communicating two of the selector ports in a negative pressure selector valve to the atmosphere and the rear side of a throttle valve while communicating the rest of the selector ports to the upper end of a float chamber and communicating a negative pressure chamber, housed with the negative pressure selector valve, to the rear side of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:Two selector ports 10a, 10b in a negative pressure selector valve 7 are communicated respectively to the atmosphere and the rear side of a throttle valve 6, while another pat 11 is communicated to the upper end of a float chamber 4, further a negative pressure chamber 8 is communicated to the rear side of the throttle valve 6. The valve 7 is located normally in a lower position, and the chamer 4 is communicated to the atmosphere permitting the flow of fuel from a nozzle 5, if the valve 6 is closed at deceleration, negative pressure in the rear side of the valve 6 is guided to the negative pressure chamber 8, and the valve 7 is sucked upward. In consequence, a communication hole 9 is connected to the upper side port 10b, and pressure in the chamber 4 is equalized to pressure in the rear side of the valve 6, then fuel is caused not to flow.
