Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled compound in high efficiency, from methanol, by using a catalyst consisting of a specific crystalline silicate composed of silicon, alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal, and tetravalent titanium and/or pentavalent phosphorus.
CONSTITUTION: A light olefin can be prepared from metahnol, with long catalytic life and simple procedure, in high yield, by using a catalyst consisting of a crystalline silicate composed of (A) silicon, (B) alkali metal and/or alkaline erath metal and (C) tetravelent titanium and/or pentavalent phosphorus, and represented by the formula (M is alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal; Z is tetravalent titanium and/or pentavalent phosphorus; m is atomic valence of M; n is atomic valence of A; 0<p≤0.1). The catalyst can be prepared by heating the raw material containing the components AWC in the presence of a crystallization agent and water preferably at 120W200°C for 10W50hr.
