Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the tltled composition excellent in workablility and processability, by blending at a specified tmperature, agglomerating and subsequently drying a blend of polyvinyl chloride emulsion and an electroconductive substance to be homogeneously mixed.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. (as a polymer) polyvinyl chloride (prepared by suspension polymerization, emulsion polymerization or heterogeneous precipitation solution-polymerization) suspension was blended with 5W50pts.wt. electroconductive substance (e.g. carbon black) at a lower temperature than the glass transition temperature of the polymer to obtain a mixture. To the mixture was added a flocculant and the agglomerate was dehydrated and dried. Thus, the powderiness was improved to prevent rigid agglomeration of the electroconductive substance and contamination by spattering of the electroconductive substance can be prevented to improve working condition.
