Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent disturbances of the lubricating oil and improve the reliability by electronically controlling a capacity control device of a rotary compressor so as to separate an oil level sensor from an oil return port of an oil separator. CONSTITUTION:A signal A from an oil level sensor 9 of an oil separator 2 and signals B1, B2 from oil level sensors 9, 9 of a compressors, 1 1 are fed to a logic circuit composed of AND circuits and an OR circuit so that solenoid valves 8, 8 are set to be opened only when the lubricating oil 6 is present in the oil separator 2 and not present in at least one of the compressors 1, 1, where the output is made OFF when the oil level sensors 9, 9, 9 are submerged in the lubricating oil 6 and it is made ON when they are not. Thus, by electronically controlling a capacity control device of the rotary compressor, the oil level sensor 9 section and an oil return port 10 can be separated, resulting in the prevention of disturbances of the lubricating oil 6 and the improvement of the reliability.
