A power source circuit 3 generates a power voltage (c) whose level varies by the control signal (b), and it is supplied as electric power for an amplifying circuit 4 which amplifies the input signal (a), so that an amplification output (d) appears at an output terminal 5. Then when the gain of a system consisting of the control signal generating circuit 2 and power source circuit 3 is set less than that of the amplifying circuit 4, a dynamic range is decreased and the amplifying circuit 4 is put in saturating operation, so the momentary peak of the input signal (a) is limited and outputted.
