Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the residual noise easily as well as to minimize the size of the device as a whole, by supplying the residual noise caused by the power supply ripple along with the signal to which the amplitude of anti-phase or the phase is modulated to the amplifier. CONSTITUTION:Input signal 1 is put into amplitude modulator 2, where the residual amplitude noise produced at klystron AMP4 and the signal of the anti-phase amplitude modulated are formed via power supply ripple detector circuit 7. This signal is then supplied to modulator 2 and phase modulator 3, and the residual amplitude noise caused at AMP4, the phase noise and the signal to which the amplitude or the phase of reverse amplitude and anti-phase are modulated are formed via the above mentioned anti-phase amplitude signal to be supplied to AMP4. Therefore, the residual noise caused at AMP4 is reduced by the beam power supply ripple of AMP4 and then deliverd to gignal output terminal 5.
