Abstract
PURPOSE:To feed a paper smoothly, by providing a cutter between a paper feeding device and a table by which the paper is moved in the subscanning direction and providing a roller for feeding the cut paper to the ejection side. CONSTITUTION:First, the tip of a recording paper 1 is in the position of a cuter 5. A motor 4 is energized on the basis of a paper feed command to rotate paper feed rollers 2 and 3, and the recording paper 1 is carried to the inside face of a moving table 6 through the cutter 5. The recording paper 1 is guided by recording guides and press plates 11 and 12 and is fed smoothly and reaches paper feed rollers 13 and 14. When the arrival of the recording paper at paper feed rollers 13 and 14 is detected, the paper feed motor 4 is stopped, and the rotation of paper feed rollers 2 and 3 is stopped, and simultaneously, the recording paper 1 is cut by the cutter 5. Next, a paper feed motor 15 is energized only for a prescribed time to feed the recording paper 1 furthermore, thus compelting setting of the paper.
