Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the temperature control and management of each room by a method wherein the signal transmitted between a slave machine installed in the fan coil unit and a master machine is composed of having the pulse length synchronized with the frequency of the power source in the centralized controlling system of each air-conditioning unit installed in individual room of a building.
CONSTITUTION: The signal of the master machine 1 is sent to the slave machine 2 through a one-shot multivibrator 11 and a pulse amplifier 12, being produced by a temperature setting variable resistance 10 in such a form as the temperature setting pulse length synchronized with the frequency of the power source. By the one-shot multivibrator 25 of the slave machine 2, the temperature measuring pulse length corresponding to the value of resistance of a temperature sensor 22 is sent to an AND circuit 28 and to the display circuit 18 of the matter machine. In the AND circuit 28, the temperature measuring pulse and the temperature setting pulse from a terminal 29 are treated with AND operation and also treated by an AND circuit 30 to get an "H" signal when the measured temperature is higher than set temperature. The "H" signal modified by a differentiation circuit 36 controls the speed of the fan coil motor. In such a manner as mentioned above, the centralized control can be performed digitally.
