Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain spun yarns of high strength, by passing a sliver through the first balloon generating nozzle and the second false twisting nozzle capable of generating a vortex in the opposite directon after the first nozzle, and capturing one ends of the unrestained fibers in the sliver, and winding the other ends around the sliver. CONSTITUTION:A sliver 1 sent by front rollers 4 is passed through the first balloon generating nozzle (BN1) and the second false twisting nozzle (BN2) capable of generating a vortex in the opposite direction after the first nozzle (BN1) and taken off by take-up rollers 9. Thus, the rear ends of fibers having the front unrestrained and free ends in the sliver just after sending to the first nozzle (BN1) are inserted and captured in the sliver by the twists, given thereto, and propagated by the second false twisting nozzle (BN2), and the central parts and the other ends of the fibers are wound around the periphery of the sliver by the balloons given by the first nozzle (BN1) in the direction opposite to that of the twists given to the sliver to give the aimed spun yarn of high strength.
